Beirut Restaurant

A dining experience that is unique to New Zealand, Beirut brings together an interesting blend of ingredients & textures from the many cultures that make up the Middle East. From Lebanon & Israel right through to East Africa & Morocco, every dish is layered with flavour.

Our chefs, led by Executive Chef Javier Carmona, handmake many of the key ingredients everyday from scratch including the Sujuk and Merguez Sausage, dry aged Basturma Beef, Labna Cured Yoghurt, Bric Pastry, as well as freshly baking all the breads we serve, every morning.

The restaurant is rough and beautiful in equal measures. Inspired by the city of Beirut in it's 1970s heyday, globally known as ‘the Paris of the East’, there is no other dining space like it in New Zealand. Like our other venues, this one was too lovingly hand crafted from top to bottom.

The Beirut Lane opens at 7am to serve a small range of exceptional takeaway breakfast dishes, strong Eight Thirty coffee, and a wide range of exotic teas. From midday, the bar overtakes the lane to support the full restaurant inside and to serve a unique range of botanically infused cocktails, handmade Middle Eastern Shrubs and carefully curated international wines.
