Airpic Productions was an early adopter of drone technology, starting off with the AR range of drones. Recently we upgraded to the latest in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle technology. Our latest drone has access to a minimum of 36 satellites around the world and therefore is always completely aware of its location and relationship to the operator. The footage is perfectly level in any flight conditions thanks to the latest in aerial stabilization technology. So far we have flown and recorded footage in The Coromandel Peninsula, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Western Australia and are looking forward to covering more areas within New Zealand.

Having always had an interest in aviation, technology and videography, drone technology was an obvious industry to get involved in. The ability to combine outdoor and indoor environments whilst overlaying great music which I am passionate about also made it an easy choice. As a draftsman by trade, the principals I learnt through Computer Assisted Design has meant I was able to integrate some skills with the video editing software.
